The 500 kV substation “Imereti” was under repair on November 1, 2022, in agreement with the National Dispatch Center of the State Electric System of Georgia, and it will be under repair until November 25.
In the mentioned period, the repair works provided by the 2022 business plan of JSC “Sakrusenergo” will be performed, which include the replacement of broken insulators and de-energizers, worn out line fittings, and damaged wires in loops. Restoration works of temporary access roads between the wires and the ground between the wires and the ground using heavy machinery. If necessary, other necessary and urgent works will be performed.
The contractor company “New-Metal Georgia” during the repair period of the “Imereti” bridge will perform the bridge between the N330-N340 masts (Р2) type N335; N336; N337 intermediate masts angular (У2к+5) with masts will replace the reconstruction works, and between N328-N329 masts will replace the damaged wires of all three phases.
The “A” type inspection body “Engineering Monitoring Group” supervises the reconstruction works in the 500 kV “Imereti” N330-N340 anchorage.
Guram Javshanashvili, the deputy head of the transport service, will ensure proper operation of transport and special equipment and fuel supply during the period of the repair of the railway station.
The head of the labor safety service, Felix Janashia, the deputy head of the service, Demur Buadze, and the main specialist, Ioseb Oboladze, control the safe production of work by the staff.
Andro Tskhadadze, the manager of the operation and construction of the West Georgia EGKs, monitors and coordinates the repair work by the personnel during the EGK’s stay in repair.
60 employees and 25 units of cars and special equipment of JSC GE “Sakrusenergo” are mobilized for the repair works of the “Imereti” plant.
On November 9 of this year, the management of JSC GE “Sakrusenergo” was at the facility to monitor the ongoing repair and reconstruction works at the 500 kV power plant “Imeret”.
