According to the agreement with the National Dispatch Center of Georgia, the 500 kV substation “Imereti” began to be repaired on March 15 of this year, and the repair work on the substation will last until March 25. During the repair period of the EGK, the works provided for in the company’s 2024 business plan will be performed, including the replacement of broken insulators and de-energizers, worn out line armatures, damaged wires in the loops and other urgent works, the need for which is identified during the repair work period.
The personnel and special equipment of the operation-repair areas of JSC “Sakrusenergo” Tsalenjikh, Zestafoni and Khashuri, as well as the personnel and special equipment of the transport service are mobilized for the ongoing repair work on the 500 kV power plant “Imeret”.
Andro Tskhadadze, the manager of the operation and construction of the West Georgia hydroelectric power plants, monitors and coordinates the repair works on the 500 kV electric power plant “Imeret”. The head of the Labor Safety and Information Technology Service Felix Janashia and the Deputy Head of the Labor Safety and Information Technology Service Demur Buadze supervise the safe performance of the personnel’s work. Guram Javshanashvili, the deputy head of the transport service, ensures proper operation of transport and special equipment.
