As part of the construction works of the Tbilisi-Bakurtsikhe-Lagodekhi International Road, which is being carried out by the Department of Roads of Georgia, in the vicinity of Sartichal, on the Vaziani-Sagarejo section, the road under construction crosses the 500 sq. In order to maintain the gauge near the mentioned road, it was necessary to reconstruct the 500 kV “Kartli-1” between the N84-N85 towers in Mal. The reconstruction works included the dismantling of the existing N84 and N85 (type У2+5) towers and the installation of elevated (type У2+12) towers instead. In addition, according to the project, the N85 mast of EKH fell on the newly constructed road, which is why it was necessary to move it to the alignment. The Georgian branch of the China Roads and Bridges Corporation performed the reconstruction works of the 500 sq.m.
In order to implement the aforementioned, the National Dispatch Center of JSC “State Electric System of Georgia” initially put the 500 kV power plant “Kartli-1” under repair from February 22, 2024 to March 6, 2024. According to the plan-schedule of putting the bridges into repair agreed with SSE, the repair of the bridge “Kartli-1” was planned from May 8 to May 22, 2024, but at the request of the Georgian branch of the China Roads and Bridges Corporation, it was put into repair on February 22.
The reconstruction works on the 500 kV substation “Kartli-1” were being delayed, due to which the works envisaged by the project could not be completed on March 6, and the substation was extended until March 18, 2024. Due to various reasons, it did not happen in the mentioned time either. Completion of reconstruction works between the N84-N85 towers of “Kartli-1” in Mali, due to which the Georgian branch of the China Roads and Bridges Corporation was withdrawn from the facility on March 18. On March 30, 2024, JSC Sakrusenergo completed the reconstruction works between the N84-N85 towers of the 500 kV power plant “Kartli-1” in Mali, and the power plant was included in the system.
During the period of the ongoing reconstruction works (22.02.24-30.03.24) of the 500 kV power plant “Kartli-1” in the N84-N85 mall, the planned repair works provided by the 2024 business plan of JSC GE “Sakrusenergo” were completely completed, in addition to the anti-corrosion protection works.
Anti-corrosion protection works on the 500 kV power plant “Kartli-1” must be carried out in the period from May 8 to May 22, 2024 (during the planned repair period of the power plant agreed with SSE), for which the winning company has been identified, which will perform the power plant “Kartli-1″ Anti-corrosion protection works on the section between N183-N196 towers of 1”.
