According to the 2022-2032 ten-year plan for the development of the transmission network of Georgia, among the projects to be implemented by JSC “Sakrusenergo” are the supply and installation of four sets of single-phase 133 MVA, 330/220/10.5 kV autotransformers in the “Gardabani-500” substation, which is implemented in the 330 kV “Gardabani” substation. – within the framework of “Agstafa” chaining.
As it is known, within the framework of the mentioned project, the construction of the two-chain 330 kV 1.2 “Gardabani” has already been completed, which replaced the existing 330 kV “Gardabani”, which was in operation since 1958. Accordingly, a new, two-chain power transmission line was built with the dispatch names 330 kV power station “Gardabani-1” and 330 kV power station “Gardabani-2”. In May of this year, 330 kV power plant “Gardabani-1” was included in the energy system of Georgia after testing. The 330 kV substation “Gardabani-2” was also tested, which is currently in reserve, and after the installation of the new AT 3-2 group of autotransformers in Gardabani substation, it will be fully included in the energy systems of Georgia and Azerbaijan, the load of which is 330 kV substation “Gardabani-1”. It will also be possible with a capacity of up to 700 MW.
JSC “Sakrusenergo” has signed an agreement with the contractor company “Bemoni Engineering and Construction” for the supply and installation of new 330 kV AT 3-2 in Gardabani substation. According to the delivery schedule, the delivery and installation of all four sets of autotransformers is planned by the end of this year.
All technical details related to the delivery of the said autotransformer are agreed with the specialists of JSC “Georgian State Electric System”.
Currently, in the presence of the representatives of the State Electric System of Georgia and Sakrusenergo, the testing process of two sets of single-phase autotransformers is underway at the autotransformer manufacturing plant (ATEF GRUP) in Baku, after which they will be transported to their destination.
At the place of delivery, in the transformer substation, the installation works of autotransformers will be carried out by the staff of the State Electricity System of Georgia under the supervision of the representative of the manufacturer.
