According to the plan-schedule agreed with the National Dispatch Center of Georgia, 500 sq.m. “Assureti” is under repair from September 13, 2021, and the works provided by the business plan are in progress. It will be under repair until September 30. During the mentioned period, between the masts N252-N253 and N260-261 of the former “Assureti”, the repair clamps on the wires will be tightened, the damaged wires will be replaced in the masts N254-N255-N256, the cleaning works will be carried out from the trees and bushes that have grown around the masts and in the masts, the temporary access roads to the masts will be Restoration and clearing works from trees and plants, inspection will be carried out, defective insulators will be replaced. It is planned to expand the side gauge by removing trees. In the area around the village of Pantiani, in the section between towers #208-#218 of the EKH, the access temporary roads will be restored and the fields will be cleared of overgrown plants using a bulldozer and an excavator. If necessary, the elimination of newly discovered defects, which will be necessary for the reliable and safe operation of the transmission line.
The personnel of the transport service together with the personnel of Tbilisi and Khashuri SSUs are carrying out the repair works on the 500 sq.m.
During the period of the repair of the Asureti power plant, the operation and construction manager of East Georgia power plants, Vakhtang Kikvadze, coordinates and supervises the work progress, the safe production of work by the staff of JSC Sakrusenergo is supervised by the head of the labor safety service, Felix Janashia, and the smooth operation of transport is coordinated and supervised by Guram Javshanashvili, deputy head of the transport service, is monitoring.
As a result of the works carried out on the so-called “Assure”, the stability of the transmission line and the reliability of the energy system of Georgia in the coming winter conditions will be significantly increased.
